Learn to keep someone alive until help arrives.

One afternoon, hands on a manikin, taught by a working firefighter. Adult, child and infant CPR, how to use an AED, what to do when someone is choking or having an allergic reaction. You leave certified for two years, and you leave knowing what the first minute looks like.

What The Class Covers

The things that actually happen, and what you do about them.

How to recognize cardiac arrest, and what to do in the first minute
Adult CPR — compressions, breaths and when to stop
Child and infant CPR — what changes when the patient is smaller
How to use an AED, including on someone who is wet or has a pacemaker
Choking, conscious and unconscious, adult, child and infant
Allergic reactions, how to spot anaphylaxis and how to use an auto-injector
When to call 911, and what to tell them so help arrives ready
What You Leave With

A two-year HSI certification, issued on the day.

HSI is the Health & Safety Institute, one of the nationally recognized certifying bodies for CPR and AED training. Finish the class and your certification is good for two years — accepted by employers, gyms, coaching programs and licensing boards that ask for current CPR and AED.

We keep a record of your certification date. When you are coming up for renewal in two years, we will let you know before it lapses rather than after.

Taught by someone who does this for real

Redline is firefighter owned and operated. The person teaching you has run these calls — so alongside the skills you get the parts a textbook leaves out: what a real cardiac arrest looks like when it happens in front of you, how long four minutes feels, and what the crew coming through the door needs you to have already done.

Who It Is For

No medical background. No employer needed.

Parents and grandparents

Adult, child and infant CPR in the same afternoon. Most people who take this class are here because of a baby at home, and the choking section is the part they remember.

Trainers and gym staff

Most personal training certifications require current CPR and AED. This one is held in a fitness studio because that is where cardiac events keep happening.

Coaches, sitters and caregivers

Youth coaches, babysitters, home health aides, anyone responsible for other people when no one else is around. No medical background needed at all.
